Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that some women develop during pregnancy. It's a condition that can be dangerous if not treated.

"It tastes like pure sugar," Blevins says, "We can find out if some is anemic if they have any problems with their blood and what their blood sugar is and we can diagnose gestational diabetes."
