Three Cheers: Diabetes support group grateful

The Yuba Sutter Children’s Type 1 Diabetes Support Group hosted the 25th annual Bike Around the Buttes on April 17. The warm weather with a mix of 1,240 ambitious riders and more than 85 volunteers helped to make this event a memorable one.
We would like to give a special thank you to all of our sponsors, organizations and to all of our volunteers who worked hard to make this event a success; we couldn't have done it without them. All monies raised will help us assist children, teens, young adults and their families with diabetes and to support a network for newly diagnosed children who live with type 1 diabetes, as well as open a diabetes resource center this summer.
